The Bearcat baseball team defeated the Cedartown Bulldogs 6-3 on Tuesday to win game one of the best of three series. Game 2 is scheduled to be played at 4:00 on Tuesday as the two teams compete for a spot in the Final Four of the GHSA AAAA playoffs.
The Cats trailed 3-2 entering the top of the 6th, but scored 4 runs in the final two innings to take the first game of the series. Pitcher Dewey Brock pitched a complete game, earning the win for the Bearcats.
