Both the Bainbridge High School girls and boys varsity basketball teams have advanced to the second round of the Georgia Class AAAA basketball playoffs.
The Bainbridge boys basketball team will play Saturday at 4 p.m. at Sandy Creek high School in Tyrone, Ga. (south of Atlanta). The Bearcat boys defeated Eagles Landing High School in the first round and their record is now 21-8 on the season. Map and Directions to Sandy Creek High School
The Bainbridge girls basketball team will play Saturday North Oconee High School in Bogart, Ga. (west of Athens) on Friday night at 6 p.m. The Lady Bearcats beat Jonesboro High School in the first round and their record is now 23-6 on the season.
