The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a Severe Weather Threat for this weekend in southwest Georgia with the possibility of strong thunderstorms and the slight possibility of tornadoes.

  • Highest threat area is Tallahassee and areas west with the line diminishing in strength as it gets towards the Big Bend.
  • All hazards are possible with damaging winds and tornadoes being the highest threats.
