The National Weather Service is still predicting that Hurricane Florence, a category 4 storm, will make landfall in the Carolinas sometime Thursday.  With the storm comes the possibility of heavy amounts of rainfall and flooding.

While the forecast track still shows the storm impacting the North and South Carolina region, the Atlantic coast of Georgia and Florida are still within the cone.  Hurricane Florence is expected to continue to strengthen before making landfall and then stall over the region, dropping monumental amounts of rain.
