WEATHER: Warm Week, Cool Weekend – Does that mean more rain?




According to the National Weather Service in Tallahassee, southwest Georgia is in for a warm week followed by a cool snap this weekend.  Sandwiched between the two is another chance of rain.  Here is the detailed forecast:

Sunny, with a high near 85. Calm wind becoming north northwest around 5 mph in the morning.

Clear, with a low around 59. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Wednesday
Sunny, with a high near 89. East wind 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday Night
Increasing clouds, with a low around 66. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Thursday
Showers and thunderstorms. High near 78. Breezy, with a south southwest wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Thursday Night
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8pm. Low around 53. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Friday
Sunny, with a high near 73. Breezy.

Mostly clear, with a low around 51.
Saturday
Sunny, with a high near 75.

Clear, with a low around 53.
