A facebook post by The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office tells the tale of a deputy being bitten by a rattlesnake. Twice.
According to the post, Deputy Travis Osborn was investigating a suspicious vehicle near the Apalachicola airport when he encountered the venomous creature. Thankfully, the deputy has been treated and is expected to make a full recovery.
