The latest from the National Weather Service regarding Hurricane Dorian paints a bleak picture for the Southern half of the Florida Peninsula. According to predictions, the storm is projected to be a category four hurricane with winds exceeding 130 mph when it makes landfall near Lake Okeechobee. The projected path and intensity after landfall remain uncertain at this time, but impacts are possible in southwest Georgia at some point.
