FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers Closing at Noon Today

WHAT:           FEMA/STATE Disaster Recovery Centers and U.S. Small Business Administration Business Recovery Centers

WHEN:           12 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018.

The DRCs and BRCs will reopen tomorrow, weather permitting.

WHY:             Severe Weather: All 15 Georgia Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) and U.S. Small Business Administration Business Recovery Centers (BRCs) will close at noon today, Nov. 1, due to the threat of severe weather in central and southwest Georgia.

WHERE:         Albany (Dougherty Co.), Colquitt (Miller Co.), Cordele (Crisp Co.), Dawson (Terrell Co.) Donalsonville (Seminole Co.), Leesburg (Lee Co.), Newton (Baker Co.), Sylvester (Worth Co.), Cairo (Grady Co.), Camilla (Mitchell Co.) and Thomasville (Thomas Co.)

NOTE:            Disaster Survivors who have registered with FEMA may visit any Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) and Business Recovery Centers (BRCs) for face-to-face help. Centers are staffed by FEMA, SBA, and other federal disaster recovery partners.
