Possible Drive By Shooting in Bainbridge

On Thursday, September 12, Bainbridge Public Safety responded to a call on Church Street in reference to a possible drive by shooting.

According to the incident report, Officers Tarow Barney and John Walker arrived on scene and made contact with Titus Madge.  Madge stated that he heard what sounded like three gunshots outside his house and ran outside in time to see a dark colored vehicle speed away.

The officers searched around the home and located five shell casings from a 9mm handgun outside of the residence.  The officers also observed three bullet entry holes on the outside of the house walls, as well as three bullet holes inside the home that matched those outside.  The bullets were not located.

The scene was photographed and the casings were logged as evidence at BPS headquarters.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Bainbridge Public Safety at 229-248-2038.
