Bainbridge Public Safety Receives Firehouse Subs Grant

The Bainbridge Public Safety Department is pleased to announce that the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has awarded the department $23,130.00 for vehicle extrication equipment.

Fire Chief Doyle Welch stated, “These new tools will be replacing the department’s nineteen year old extrication equipment, and will improve the department’s rescue capabilities for victims in motor vehicle crashes.”

According to their website, “At Firehouse Subs, subs are only part of our story. A portion of your purchase in 2017 at all US Firehouse Subs locations goes to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, to be used to provide lifesaving equipment to first responders. Since the Foundation started, it has granted over $25 million to provide equipment, training, and support to hometown heroes.”
