Bainbridge High School running back Dameon Pierce has received yet another postseason football award, and several Bainbridge Bearcat teammates also were recognized by the Georgia Sportswriters’ Association.
Pierce, a sophomore, was named to the Georgia Class AAAA All-State first team offense by the Georgia Sportswriters’ Association, which released its awards on Saturday.
Bainbridge senior wide receiver Tyler Story was named to the AAAA second team offense.
Receiving honorable mention for Class AAAA were offensive lineman Ladarius Garnes, who received the same honor from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and quarterback Brett McLaughlin, who also contributed significantly to the Bearcats’ tremendous offensive effort this past season.
Early County High School senior Randy Wade, a defensive lineman, was named to the Class AA All-State first team defense by the sportswriters’ association.
You can view the full Georgia Sportswriters’ Association high school football All-State teams at the Gwinnett Daily Post’s website.
Give me the score for tonight’s game between the Bainbridge Bearcats and the Early County Bobcats and what can I go too to listen to the game?
Thank you
I say Bearcats 21 and Bobcats 40
