Hutto Middle School students to hold clothes drive for charity

Fifth-grade students in the Hutto Middle School “Mustangs” team will be doing their S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering, math) project on “The 11th year, How the sun’s polarity switch affects our weather systems.”

We will be doing different activities throughout the year. One of our projects, The Clothes Drive in partnership with the Agape Shoppe, a charity in Bainbridge that provides clothing, toys and books to foster children and families who have an emergency need.

The clothing drive will be held November 14, 2015, from 9:00-1:00. Part of the Mustang team’s S.T.E.M. project is to teach the students how to rebuild after a natural disaster. Knowing is power and sharing is caring. Join us in making this a great project and teaching students to come together to be part of something bigger than themselves.
