- ATLANTA, GA (AJC) – Georgia notched a victory in a long-running legal dispute with Florida on Tuesday when a judicial official urged the U.S. Supreme Court to reject strict new water consumption limits that Georgia said would have struck a devastating blow to the state’s economy.
- TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) – A Tallahassee man has been arrested after officers said he stabbed his girlfriend and mother then abducted his girlfriend’s friend.
- ALBANY, GA (ALBANY HERALD) — Although there were doubts in the days following the devastating Jan. 2 storm that left large sections of Albany littered with fallen debris, officials are moving forward with the annual Snickers Marathon through downtown Albany and expectations are high that it will be another success.
- AMERICUS, GA (ALBANY HERALD) — Slain Americus police officers Nick Smarr and Jody Smith will be memorialized on the building that is home to Georgia Southwestern State University’s Public Safety Department.
