On Friday, officers from Bainbridge Public Safety had the privilege of taking several families shopping for Christmas in an event called “Shop With a Cop.”
BPS teamed up with the Salvation Army and Walmart to bring Christmas to these families in the form of food, toys, and clothing. Each officer was assigned a child to assist in shopping for items on their wish list.
Following the shopping trip, families were treated to lunch at Pizza Hut. The day concluded with a trip to Public Safety Headquarters where officers and kids wrapped gifts together, and then Santa stopped by for a visit!
