Noah Bryant went 2-2, helping Bainbridge Bearcats JV to a 9-6 victory over Cairo on Tuesday at Bainbridge.
He singled in the third and fifth innings.
Dustin Hodge got the win for Bainbridge Bearcats JV. He allowed two runs over four innings. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered five hits.
Bainbridge Bearcats JV jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Bainbridge Bearcats JV’s rally started when Andre Jackson singled. A stolen base then moved Jackson from first to second. Bainbridge Bearcats JV added more runs when Wiggins scored on a sacrifice fly by Bryant.
Bainbridge Bearcats JV stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the second, scoring one run on a groundout by Lawson Lane.

Two runs in the top of the sixth helped Cairo close its deficit to 7-4. A two-run single by Leverette fueled Cairo’s comeback. Shattles to end the Cairo threat.

Cairo scored two runs in the top of the seventh to cut its deficit to three. A wild pitch and an RBI single by Childree gave Cairo life. Bainbridge Bearcats JV closed the game out when Wright Cook got Johnson to ground out.
