According to Bainbridge Public Safety Public Information Officer Julie Harris, there has been a bomb threat in downtown Bainbridge.
As of 1:45 p.m. the GBI Bomb Squad is on the scene accessing the threat. No further details are available at this time.
Bainbridge Public Safety is asking everyone to avoid the area while the threat is investigated.
