A City of Bainbridge dump truck wrecked on the Bainbridge Bypass Tuesday closing both lanes of traffic temporarily. According to Bainbridge Public Safety’s Facebook page, the accident happened around 3:00 and both directions of travel were closed for approximately 2 hours.
According to Julie Harris, the Public Information Officer with the City, the truck was loaded and the driver failed to negotiate the ramp.
City of Bainbridge paving crews were working near Memorial Hospital and the driver was loaded for that project. There were no injuries in the wreck.

Im sure they have already found a solution to recover the expenses of repairing the truck….raise our taxes a little bit more.
