On Wednesday, Bainbridge High School senior third baseman Will Kelley signed an athletic scholarship with Tallahassee Community College.
Kelley has played in 85 baseball games for Bainbridge, beginning with his freshman year, and has a lifetime batting average of .305 with 79 hits, 76 RBI’s, and 3 home runs through his junior year. At third base, Kelley has a career .841 fielding percentage. Will, the son of Al and Janie Kelley, also pitches for the Bearcats and has a career record of 11-4 (not including 2 saves) and a career ERA of 3.13.
“We’re very proud of Will and his accomplishments as well as what he helps us accomplish as a team on the field” said Coach Brian McCorkle. “We’re looking forward to watching him play his senior year at Bainbridge High School and at the next level at TCC.”
Kelley is the second Bearcat Baseball player to sign with TCC in the past two years. Keith Lyle signed with the Eagles last year.
