Valdosta, GA – Wild Adventures celebrated the birthday of two special “babies” on Monday when Tiki and Kiara, the parks’ African lions, turned one.
The cubs, who weighed about 30 pounds each when they arrived last year, are now between 85 and 100 pounds. The cubs were given wrapped boxes filled with balloons to tear into and celebrate. While Tiki did his best to open the boxes, Kiara was pretty happy to watch for a safe distance.
When fully grown, these lions will weigh between 400 and 500 pounds. Wild Adventures opens for the 2017 Season on Saturday, March 11. Visit WildAdventures.com for more information.
