According to the National Hurricane Center, the chances of the tropical system near the Bahamas forming is growing daily and could target Florida and Georgia in a few days.

Tropical cyclone development is likely later this week as a disturbance moves through the Bahamas and approaches south Florida later this weekend. The NHC has upgraded the chance of tropical cyclone formation to 80% within the next 5 days.
It is still too early to determine possible impacts for our area, since model forecast tracks and intensity forecasts diverge significantly by early next week.
