Southwest Georgia to see up to FIVE inches of rain today and tomorrow

The National Weather Service is predicting that southwest Georgia could see as much as five inches of rain today and tomorrow. ¬†This storm system has already caused significant flash flooding issues in the metro Atlanta area and severe tornado damage in north Alabama. ¬†Once the rain moves out, southwest Georgia can expect a cooldown for the weekend, with high temperatures in the mid 50’s.
