SWGA Weather for the week of February 1, 2016: Warmer temperatures and rain, followed by another cool snap

The National Weather Service is predicting warmer temperatures and rain for the week, followed by cooler air for the weekend.  Highs will reach the mid-70’s Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with rain expected Wednesday and Thursday.  Expect high temperatures in the mid 50’s Thursday through Sunday.

Areas of dense fog before 9am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Wednesday
Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a high near 72. South southwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
