ATLANTA FALCONS ANNOUNCES 2016 MOMS FOOTBALL SAFETY CLINIC

Flowery Branch –The Atlanta Falcons will host 8 Moms Football Safety Clinics this Spring across Georgia and the Southeast.  The purpose of the clinics is to provide helpful information to moms who have children that are considering or currently playing tackle football.

 

The clinic will include both on and off the field instruction.  Classroom instruction will include topics such as equipment fitting, concussion awareness and proper tackling techniques. The event will concludes with on-field drills led by NFL Alumni.

 

The Falcons have hosted clinics all over the state of Georgia over the past two years; the first Atlanta Falcons Moms clinic was held in Alpharetta in 2014.

 

The Falcons will kick of the 2016 with a clinic in Bainbridge, Georgia —February 2nd:

There will be special guest speakers at each clinic this year; ALL of the clinics will be hosted by Atlanta Falcons staff, and will feature former Atlanta Falcons Linebacker Buddy Curry (1980-87) and representatives from Riddell Sports and the Taylor Hooton Foundation.

 

The Falcons plan to host Moms clinics in the following cities this year:   Savannah (GA),  Flowery Branch (GA), Tifton (GA),  Auburn (AL), Chattanooga (TN), Birmingham (AL), and Hilton Head (SC); more details and dates to follow in February.
