What: Weather permitting, Ozark Striping Co., a contractor for the Georgia Department of Transportation, will be installing new road stripes in Brooks County and new raised pavement markers (RPMs) in Early and Seminole Counties. This is a slow-moving operation that requires rolling lane closures.
Motorists are asked to use caution, reduce speed and remain alert to changing traffic conditions. If you approach a work crew please do not pass the work truck or trail/buffer vehicle, change lanes behind the truck or trail/buffer vehicle or swerve back and forth to see around the trucks.
Raised pavement markers and new road stripes improve visibility for drivers at night and in inclement weather.
