Downtown Thomasville is welcoming the holiday shopping season with a Downtown Holiday Open House. It is set to take place Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Participating shops and restaurants will open their doors for holiday shopping and dining.
Downtown Thomasville welcomes locals and visitors to come shop and dine to kick off the holiday shopping season. “This is a great opportunity to begin holiday shopping and take advantage of all the visitors in town for the Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival,” said Karen Smith, Executive Director of Downtown Thomasville Main Street and Tourism.
The Main Street office will be sponsoring a Downtown Dollar Giveaway promotion where five lucky shoppers will receive one of five $100 Downtown Dollars Gift Certificates. For every $20 a shopper spends in-store, customers will receive a ticket to win one of five $100 Downtown Dollars Gift Certificates. Several convenient locations will be set up along the downtown streets providing tickets for the giveaway drawing. The drawing will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 22nd.
The City of Thomasville will provide complimentary trolley rides between Downtown Thomasville and the Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival.
The Main Street office and Downtown Merchants welcome locals and visitors alike to attend the Holiday Open House and experience what Downtown Thomasville has to offer.
