The City of Bainbridge is pleased to welcome Crystal Hines as the new Executive Assistant to the City Manager.
Crystal most recently served as Membership Director and Interim CEO of the Bainbridge-Decatur County YMCA. She is married to Bert Hines and they have two children, Brooks (7) and Sarah Collins (4).
Assistant City Manager Roy Oliver said Crystal has been welcomed by City of Bainbridge staff.
“We’re glad to have her, she has definitely proven herself in the community through her work at the YMCA,” Oliver said.
Hines took on the role of interim CEO during a transition between the departure of a former CEO and the hiring of current CEO Kevin Angell. Essentially, Hines went from being the YMCA’s membership director and PR coordinator to overseeing the daily operation of the YMCA.
“Crystal has a great personality on she’s always cheerful,” Oliver said. “I think she’s going to be a great fit at City Hall.”
