Cage Cox was strong at the plate and on the hill in carrying Syrupmakers to a 15-0 victory over Albany HS on Monday at Cairo.

Cox racked up three RBIs on two hits for Syrupmakers. He homered in the first inning and doubled in the second inning.

Thomasville High School’s varsity is now 7-2 on the season.

From Bulldogathletics.com: Leading the charge offensively is Junior, Morgan Meyers, who is hitting well over .400, as well as Chapman O’Quinn and Hayden Donaldson who are both hitting over .350.  Pitching has been a strong point throughout the season and is one of the reasons the bulldogs are winning or are in close ball games. Junior Owen House is 3-1 with a 1.71 ERA, other notables are Junior Bayley Wright 1-1 with a 0.64 ERA, Senior Kalin Wilson  1.11 ERA in 2 saves, and Freshman Buck Bennett who is 1-0 with a 2.80 ERA.
