The Decatur County Artists’ Guild will be presenting its 2015 Spring Exhibit at the Firehouse Center and Harrell Gallery between March 12th through March 22. Guild members would like to extend an invitation to the public to attend the cheese and wine opening reception, Thursday, March 12th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The show will include oil, watercolor and acrylic paintings, fiber art, photography, wood turning and mixed media pieces by many of the region’s finest artists. This exhibit will be judged by David Griffin, Director of Collections for the Albany Museum of Art, and awards made in three categories: 2-D, 3-D and Photography. Reception attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite work and from their votes a “People’s Choice” award will be made that evening.
