A structure fire at Hardee’s located at 1000 East Shotwell Street began at approximately 5:45 p.m.
Thanks to the quick response of Bainbridge Public Safety, the fire was contained to the kitchen and roof and was extinguished by 6 p.m. Decatur County Fire and Rescue also provided assistance.
Everyone was evacuated safely. There are no details yet on the extent of the damage or how long the restaurant may be closed following the fire.
