What: State Route 253 North/Newton Road is scheduled to close for railroad maintenance by CSX, which will require a traffic detour.
When: Beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19. The road closure should last two or three days.
Where: SR 253 North/Newton Road in Bainbridge.
From Bainbridge, traffic will detour to Dothan Road, U.S. 27 North to Colquitt, SR 91 Spur, SR 91 North and back to SR 253.
From SR 253 North in Baker County, traffic will detour to SR 91 South to Colquitt, SR 91 Spur, U.S. 27 to Bainbridge and then left on Dothan Road to SR 253.
