The Muddy Buddy Fun Run for kids aged 7-14 will be held at the Bill Reynolds Sports Park in Bainbridge on Saturday, Sept. 20 at 9:30 a.m.
The cost to register is $30 per child; the deadline to register is Tuesday, Sept. 16 and there will be no registration on the day of the race.
Kids who participate will take on 20 crazy obstacles, some of them muddy, over a 1.5-mile distance.
All participants will receive a race day shirt and a running number on the day of the run. There will also be 1st-3rd place medals for all age groups, and the top three girls and boys finishers.
Shirts for non-participants will be available for purchase on the day of the race for $15.
Proceeds from the Muddy Buddy Fun Run benefit the Decatur County Family Connection collaborative.
