Eleven seniors graduated in the Grace Christian Academy Class of 2014 on Friday, May 23.
GCA’s 2014 valedictorian was Kendi Castoro and the salutatorian was Hannah Hatcher. The Bob Jones University Benaiah Medallion was presented to Hannah Hatcher, senior class president.
The graduation address was given by Dr. Tonya Strickland, vice-president of academic affairs at Bainbridge State College. Special music, “River in Judea,” was performed by Zyreese Guy, Ben Holden, Anders Austinson and Josiah Austinson.
Honor graduates included Felix Amaya Jr., Kendi Castoro, Zyreese Guy, Hannah Hatcher, Ben Holden and Melissa Mills. Also graduating were Taylor Cumbie, Haley Grier, Jackson Harrell, Garvis Kelly and Brent Noble.
Mark Harrell, chairman of the GCA school board, gave the welcome and prayer. Matt Palmer, a member of the GCA school board, gave the closing prayer.
