On Wednesday, May 28, 2014, Dennis Edward Hill, 41, of Albany, Georgia, was arrested at Pelham High School in Pelham, GA, for two counts of Computer Pornography and Child Exploitation.
Hill is accused of sending and receiving texts of a sexual nature with multiple female students, including one who was a freshman.
Hill was a social studies teacher at Pelham High School and was head coach of the boys and girls’ golf teams. Hill had taught at Pelham High School since 2011.
was arrested on the charges at approximately 7:40 AM Wednesday. This was the result of a joint investigation of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Pelham Police Department.
Hill was taken to the Mitchell County Jail where he will be housed until a possible bond hearing.
