BPS: Robbery at Bainbridge Bank (Updated 4:35 p.m)

UPDATE 4:35 P.M.:

Bainbridge Public Safety has identified the two suspects as Patrick Lon Keating, 23, of a Tallahassee address and Michelle Nicole Singh, 20, of a Tallahassee address.  According to the release, Keating has also been tied to the Armed Robbery of Synovus Bank in Thomasville which took place on January 12th.   Keating and Singh were transported to the Decatur County Jail, and are being held without bond until a judge can set the bail amount.

UPDATE 11:51 A.M:

According to a facebook post from the Thomasville Police Department, the suspects in Thursday morning’s bank robbery are the same suspects in a robbery at the Synovus Bank in Thomasville that occurred on Saturday, January 12th.

ORIGINAL STORY (9:30 AM):

According to Bainbridge Public Safety, there was a robbery at the People’s South Bank on Highway 27 South in Bainbridge early Thursday morning.

Initial reports indicate that just after the bank opened, a man walked in and demanded money.  During the robbery, the man indicated that he had a gun, but never displayed a firearm.  He then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash to a waiting car driven by a female.

Bainbridge Public Safety was on the scene almost immediately and quickly apprehended two suspects after their car was pointed out by one of the victims.  After blocking the car’s path, the officer found a man hiding in the back seat.
