UPDATE 11:51 A.M:

According to a facebook post from the Thomasville Police Department, the suspects in Thursday morning’s bank robbery are the same suspects in a robbery at the Synovus Bank in Thomasville that occurred on Saturday, January 12th.

According to Bainbridge Public Safety, there was a robbery at the People’s South Bank on Highway 27 South in Bainbridge early Thursday morning.

Initial reports indicate that just after the bank opened, a man walked in and demanded money.  During the robbery, the man indicated that he had a gun, but never displayed a firearm.  He then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash to a waiting car driven by a female.

Bainbridge Public Safety was on the scene almost immediately and quickly apprehended two suspects after their car was pointed out by one of the victims.  After blocking the car’s path, the officer found a man hiding in the back seat.
