The Honor Sentinels, a local veterans charity, will be hosting a community prayer for local law enforcement this Friday at 4:00 p.m. behind the Decatur County Courthouse.
According to Dan West, an organizer of the event, there will be representatives from the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office and Bainbridge Public Safety and he urges the public to participate.

According to the Honor Sentinels website, “WE ARE HERE TO HELP OUR COMMUNITY, THE CHILDREN AND SERVE THOSE WHO HAVE GAVE SO MUCH FOR ALL OF US.”
The Honor Sentinels also operate the Bainbridge/Decatur County Veteran’s Center and coordinated the recent 229 Music Fest, a fundraiser for local veterans.
