Alan Killingsworth of Bainbridge State College will be at the Decatur County – Gilbert H. Gragg library tonight, Monday, June 2nd at 6:30 to meet with prospective students and their parents.
He will address both academic concerns and financial concerns most students have. These are two of the most important questions people ask themselves when considering college, “With my grades and academic background, can I make it in the field I’m interested in? And, how am I going to pay for this?”
Killingsworth will talk about sources of money for college, and privately assess using individual’s transcripts or high school report cards the kind of programs a student might do well in at the college. They have everything from certification programs to 4 year college programs. An advisor will be on hand to individually look at HS transcripts (or report cards) and talk to the individual about interests and goals. Killingsworth is an admissions advisor from Bainbridge State College in Bainbridge, Georgia. This program is scheduled from 6:30 to 7:30 tonight at the library in Bainbridge and is free and open to the public.
