Thieves Targeting Unlocked Cars in Bainbridge

According to Bainbridge Public Safety reports, there was a rash of car break-ins recently in West Bainbridge.

On Monday, March 15 and Tuesday, March 16, Bainbridge Public Safety investigated six cases of “entering auto” on Bethel Road and Plantation Road.  In each case, the vehicles were left unlocked and rummaged through.  In three of the cases, the thieves stole items from the cars, including a wallet, sunglasses, change and compact discs.

The incidents occurred on:

  • the 700 block of Bethel Road
  • the 1000 block of Bethel Road
  • the 1500 block of Bethel Road
  • the 1600 block of Plantation Road
