Here’s your southwest Georgia are news for Tuesday, February 16, 2016:
- BAINBRIDGE, GA (SOWEGALIVE / FOX NEWS) – According to Decatur County Public Works, Decatur County received 1.2″ of rain last night and there were no reports of significant damage. However, the Florida panhandle did receive reports of a tornado in that same storm.
- EARLY CO., GA (WALB) – Concerned citizens want to know who’s responsible for shooting at least 7 dogs in the county.
- ATLANTA, GA (CBS / AJC) – Check out the Top 20 cities in Georgia with the most violent crimes in the past year. Several south Georgia cities made the list.
- DOTHAN, AL (DOTHAN EAGLE) – A Dothan man out on bail for allegedly shooting his brother just before Christmas now faces another felony charge for the alleged assault of a second brother.
- ATLANTA, GA (AJC) – Georgia courts have a new tool for collecting cash: taking a bite out of your tax refund.
