Bainbridge High School sophomore running back Dameon Pierce, who was recently named to the All-State football team for Georgia’s Class AAAA, has been given another noteworthy honor.
Pierce was chosen as one of the country’s top sophomore football players, as selected by MaxPreps, a widely followed high school sports website. Pierce was one of three running backs selected on a list of sophomores from all over the United States. Another player on the list was sophomore quarterback Trevor Lawrence from Cartersville, Ga. High School, the team that defeated Bainbridge in the state AAAA semifinals this past fall.
