The City of Bainbridge is pleased to welcome Brad Ward as the new Human Resources Director. Brad is a native of Decatur County and has an extensive background in Human Resources.
Ward was formerly the human resources director at Shaw Industries’ Bainbridge plant.
He is a 1985 graduate of Bainbridge High School and a graduate of Valdosta State University with a BBA in Management. Brad and his wife Christy, a fourth grade teacher at West Bainbridge Elementary, live in Bainbridge with their two children, Ty and Gracen. City Manager Chris Hobby stated, “We are excited to have Brad join our team and bring his expertise to our efforts to control costs through better training and risk management. Brad will be devoting a substantial portion of his time and effort to identifying where efficiencies can be found by combining certain government services with Decatur County and other local government entities. We look forward to his contribution to the effort to reduce our costs and save taxpayers’ dollars.”
