The 28th Annual Gnat Days festival will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015 in downtown Camilla, Ga., with the fun kicking off at 8 a.m. and continuing throughout the day.
A kids’ bike race will be held at 9 a.m. from the Camilla Depot on Broad Street. (Anyone with kids planning to participate should arrive at 8:15 a.m. for a safety inspection.)
Then the fun will continue throughout Saturday, featuring:
- Live entertainment all day long
- Arts and crafts
- Food and drink vendors
- A chicken wing eating contest
- Children’s play area
The chicken wing eating contest will begin Saturday at 12 p.m. Contestants will have six minutes to down all the wings they can handle!
The good times will continue even after the sun sets, with music and dancing underneath the oak trees, scheduled for 8 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. on Saturday night.
