FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING
Flash Flood Watch issued September 15 at 3:42PM EDT until September 17 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL
The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has expanded the

* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of Big Bend Florida and
southwest Georgia, including the following areas, in Big Bend
Florida, Gadsden. In southwest Georgia, Baker, Calhoun, Clay,
Decatur, Dougherty, Early, Lee, Miller, Mitchell, Quitman,
Randolph, Seminole and Terrell.

* Through Thursday morning

* As Hurricane Sally slowly approaches the northern Gulf Coast, bands
of heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected to move northward
into the region through mid-week. Localized rainfall amounts up to
10 inches are possible in Southwest Georgia through Thursday.
Do not enter or cross flowing water or water of unknown depth.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
