The latest from the National Weather Service:
- A widespread severe weather event will move through the Tri-State area late tonight into early Friday, with much of the region under an enhanced risk for severe weather level (3 of 5).
- Primary threat is damaging wind gusts up to 80 mph along a squall line
- Some minor coastal flooding along Apalachee Bay/coastal Big Bend
- Average rain amounts could be between 1-3” with locally higher amounts
