The roadway has been re-opened.
According to Bainbridge Public Safety, a one vehicle accident has occurred on the Bainbridge Bypass between the Shotwell Street and Spring Creek exits. Traffic has been reduced to one lane in each direction.
The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m. Monday morning in the north bound lanes. The driver was life-flighted from Memorial Hospital and Manor.
