There is the slight possibility of severe weather this afternoon as the front moves into southwest Georgia. From the National Weather Service:
A frontal boundary will bring showers and a few isolated storms to the local area today. SPC has clipped Coffee and Dale counties (southeast Alabama) with a Marginal Risk for severe weather. While severe storms are unlikely, there is a low potential for an isolated strong to severe storm capable of producing damaging straight line winds later this afternoon. This threat will likely remain confined to southeast Alabama and western Georgia.
