Tonight (Wednesday) around 8pm a man was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of Walmart and the car he was driving, a black Pontiac G6, was stolen. Multiple vehicles in the parking lot were also broken into. Around 10pm, the stolen car was located by Public Safety Officers in a wooded area on Cosmo Street. Officers are actively searching the area for two black male suspects. The first is short in stature and was wearing a camouflage jacket and khaki shorts, with “Jerry Curls” or twist dreads in his hair. This is the suspect with the gun, and he should be considered armed and dangerous. The second suspect was wearing a gray hoodie with light colored pants. If anyone believes they know or have seen these men, please call 911 or Public Safety at 248-2038.
