PRESS RELEASE
“END OF SUMMER CRACKDOWN”
A month-long drug investigation culminated on Thursday, August 31st when Bainbridge Public Safety Deputy Director Frank Green and CID Officers Larry Funderburke, Chip Nix, Chris Avery, and Mark Esquivel spent the day rounding up Bainbridge drug dealers. Working on tips from the public and information uncovered during investigations, warrants were taken out on six individuals.
Arrested and transported to the Decatur County Jail were:
Nicholas Carmine Broadnax, age 34

*Use of Communication Facility in Committing or Facilitating Commission of Act Which Constitutes Felony (Felony)
Jamel Christopher Jackson, age 46
*Controlled Substance – Manufacture, Delivery, Distribution, Possession, or Sale of Controlled Substance (Felony)
*Controlled Substance – Sale, Manufacture, Distribution of Marijuana (Felony)
*Use of Communication Facility in Committing or Facilitating Commission of Act Which Constitutes Felony (Felony)
*Weapon – Possession of Firearms by Convicted Felon (Felony)
Terrance Maurice Jones, age 29

*Controlled Substance – Sale, Manufacture, Distribution of Cocaine (Felony)
Wanda Renee Moore, age 38
*Controlled Substance – Sale, Manufacture, Distribution of Cocaine (Felony)

Derrick Tyler, age 40
*Controlled Substance – Sale, Manufacture, Distribution of Cocaine (Felony)

Additional warrants were served on Terrance Tederyl Price, age 44 on drug related charges. Price was arrested on July 28th, and is currently in the Decatur County Jail.
Several arrests are still pending.
