Decatur County Fire and Rescue, along with the Fowlstown Volunteer Fire Department and Climax Volunteer Fire Department, responded to a mobile home fire on Millwhite Road early Friday morning.
According to Decatur County Fire and Rescue’s Facebook page, upon arrival, the mobile home was 50% involved, but once the engines and tankers arrived, the fire was quickly brought under control.
Chief Charlie McCann stated that the cause of the fire was still unknown, but nobody was injured in the fire.
The mobile home was declared a total loss.
