Bainbridge Public Safety offers condolences to the family of Brenda Gail Solis of Bethel Road in Bainbridge. Brenda was killed in an accident on Highway 27 this afternoon. We ask the public to keep the passenger, who was Life Flighted, in their prayers. Her name has not been released and her condition is unknown at this time. BPS wants to thank Decatur County Fire & Rescue, Decatur County Sherriffs Department, Georgia State Patrol, and numerous volunteer First Responders who assisted at the scene
There has been a fatal accident at the intersection of Highway 27 North and Bethel Road in Bainbridge. The accident involved a tractor trailer truck and a passenger car.
According to Bainbridge Public Safety, there is one confirmed fatality and one person has been transported via Life Flight.
This intersection was the scene of a fatal accident last week as well.

I had a wreck there in the same place in October 2016 . They really need a red light there before mor are killed.
